Large Bail Bonds in Phoenix: $50,000 and Up

Six-figure and seven-figure bonds require experience, surety capacity and real collateral. We have all three.

Large Bail Bonds in Phoenix: What You Need to Know

Serious felony charges in Maricopa County can carry bail of $100,000, $500,000 or more than $1 million. Posting a bond that size is not a quick card payment. It requires a surety company willing to write it, collateral that secures it, cosigners who qualify, and an agent who knows how to document everything so the bond is accepted at the Bond and Fine Room without delay.

One Stop Bail Bonds writes large bonds with the backing of surety capacity designed for them. We walk families through the collateral options, which commonly include Arizona real estate with sufficient equity, and we explain exactly what happens to the collateral while the case is pending and when the bond is exonerated.

How We Handle Large Bail Bonds

1

Step 1

We review the charges, the bail amount, and any holds that would prevent release regardless of the bond.

2

Step 2

We identify collateral and cosigners. For real estate, we document equity and record a deed of trust; for other assets, we explain the process.

3

Step 3

Once the premium and collateral are in place, we post the bond and coordinate the release, which can take longer on large bonds while the jail verifies the paperwork.

Why Families Choose One Stop for Large Bail Bonds

  • Surety capacity for very large bonds
  • Real estate and other collateral handled properly
  • Clear written terms for cosigners
  • Experience with high-profile and complex cases

What a Bail Bond Costs in Arizona

Arizona bail bond premiums are set by the surety company's rate filing with the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions. The standard rate is 10% of the bail amount, so a $5,000 bail costs about $500 and a $20,000 bail costs about $2,000. The premium is our fee for posting the full bail and is not refunded when the case ends. Arizona law does not allow a bail agent to charge interest on the premium, and we never add night, weekend or holiday surcharges.

On very small bonds, surety schedules set a minimum premium. If paying the full cash bond yourself would cost you less, we will say so. For larger bonds we may ask for collateral or a qualified cosigner, and every requirement is disclosed in writing before you commit. Use our bail bond calculator to estimate the premium, or read about payment plans and collateral.

Large Bail Bonds Questions

How much is the premium on a $100,000 bail bond?

Premiums follow filed surety rates, typically 10% of the bail amount, so about $10,000 on a $100,000 bond. The premium is the fee for the bond and is not refunded when the case ends.

What collateral is required for a large bond?

Most large bonds are secured by Arizona real estate with documented equity, sometimes combined with other assets and multiple cosigners. We review what you have and tell you whether it is sufficient before anyone commits.

Can bail be reduced on a large bond?

A defense attorney can file a motion to modify release conditions in Superior Court. If bail is reduced before we post, the premium is based on the lower amount. We coordinate with your attorney.
