Bail Bond Payment Plans
Bail never arrives when you are ready for it. Qualified cosigners can split the premium into interest-free payments and get their person home tonight.
How Our Payment Plans Work
The premium on a bail bond is a percentage of the bail, typically 10%. On a $15,000 bond that is $1,500, which is real money for most households, especially on a Saturday night. A payment plan lets you pay part of the premium now and the balance on a schedule we agree to in writing, with no interest and no hidden finance charges.
Plans are approved quickly, usually in the same phone call. We look at the cosigner's income, residence and relationship to the defendant, and the size of the bond. A payment plan is an agreement about the premium only; it does not change the cosigner's responsibility for the full bail if the defendant fails to appear.
What You Can Expect
- Down payment and schedule disclosed in writing before you sign
- No interest, no finance charges, no late-night surcharges
- Payments by card, cash or bank transfer
- Plans available on most misdemeanor and felony bonds
- Reminders before each payment is due
Payment Plans and Collateral
A payment plan is about the premium. Collateral is about securing the bond itself. Small and mid-sized bonds with a qualified cosigner usually need neither collateral nor a large down payment. Large bonds may need both. We explain exactly which applies to you.

Payment Plan Questions
Who qualifies for a bail bond payment plan?
A cosigner with steady income, a stable Arizona residence (or a strong relationship to the defendant for out-of-state cosigners) and the ability to make the scheduled payments. We decide quickly and tell you the terms in writing.
How much do I need to put down?
It depends on the bond size and the cosigner. Many plans start at half of the premium down, with the balance over the following weeks or months. Some bonds qualify for less down; some require more.
Do you charge interest or finance fees?
No. Arizona does not allow a bail bond agent to charge interest on the premium under the bail license, and we do not add finance charges. You pay the premium, nothing more.
What if I miss a payment?
Call us. We would rather adjust a schedule than see a plan fail. Repeated nonpayment is a breach of the agreement and can lead to the defendant being surrendered to custody, which nobody wants.
How can I bail someone out of jail without money?
Options include asking the court or a defense attorney to request release on own recognizance or a lower bond, using a bail bond agent with a payment plan for the premium, or pledging collateral such as a vehicle title in place of cash. We offer payment plans to qualified cosigners and explain all options honestly.
How much does a bail bond cost in Phoenix?
Arizona bail bond premiums are set by the surety company's rates filed with the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions, typically 10% of the bail amount. A $5,000 bail costs about $500; a $25,000 bail costs about $2,500. Surety schedules set a minimum premium on very small bonds. Licensed agents cannot charge interest on the premium, and we disclose every fee before you sign.
