How to Find Out Someone's Bail Amount in Maricopa County

The MCSO Inmate Search

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office inmate search lists booking charges and the bond amount once the initial appearance has occurred. Search by name and date of birth or booking number. If the bond field is blank, the hearing has not happened yet; it will within 24 hours of arrest. See our inmate search guide.

The Court Record

Superior Court and Justice Court case records show the release order, including the bond type (secured, unsecured, cash-only) and amount, which the inmate search sometimes abbreviates. City court records show city cases.

Call a Licensed Agent

Call us at any hour. We check the jail record and court record, explain what the bond type means for release, and quote the premium. There is no charge for the lookup.

Reading It Right

'Secured appearance bond $10,000' means cash or a surety bond for $10,000 is required. 'Cash only $10,000' means no surety; the full amount must be paid in cash. 'No bond' or 'hold' means a bond alone will not release the person.

How One Stop Bail Bonds helps. Our licensed agents deal with finding a bail amount questions every week. Call at any hour and we will confirm the custody location and bail amount from the jail and court records, explain the release conditions in plain language, quote the premium to the dollar, and, if a bond is the right move, take your e-signature and post at the jail while you stay home. If a bond is not the right move, or not possible yet, we will tell you that too. Read how bail bonds work or use the calculator to estimate the cost.

Questions

Why does the inmate search show no bond amount?

Either the initial appearance has not occurred yet, the person was released on own recognizance, or there is a no-bond hold. We can tell you which.

Can bail be different from the amount in the inmate search?

The inmate search reflects the current order. If a judge modifies the bond later, the record updates. We confirm the live amount before posting.

Is a bail schedule published for Maricopa County?

Arizona does not use a fixed bail schedule for most offenses; the judicial officer sets bail case by case at the initial appearance.
